ATTENTION ALL PLAYWRIGHTS
The Hand-to-Mouth Players
announces its
16th Annual Award Winning
Playwright / Director's Workshop
WE NEED MANUSCRIPTS !!!
ü One-Act plays - no more than 30 min. in length
ü Minimal staging
ü Casts of 5 or less preferred
Deadline: May 15, 2007
Guidelines:
o Submit complete manuscript to address below No e-mail submissions
o Include a $10 Submission fee for each play. Checks made out to HTM
o Play must be previously unpublished and unproduced.
o Include a title page with the following information:
· Name, Address, Phone number, Approx. length of play (in minutes)
o DO NOT have your name on any other page!
o Every page should have the title and page # on the top right.
o Include a SASE with submission for reply.
o Manuscripts will NOT be returned
o Computer or photocopy OK
o Critiques will not be given on those plays not chosen for the workshop.
Performances:
There will be three performances September 28-30, 2007 at
Adjudication:
The last performance will be adjudicated by a representative from the Theatre Association of New York State (TANYS). Feedback will be given to the playwrights, directors, actors, and the individual productions. For 13 of the last 14 years one of our plays has been selected to appear at the TANYS Festival, held each November.
Audience members will also participate with anonymous comment sheets.
