The Hand-to-Mouth Players are proud to present their 11th Annual, award-winning, Playwright/Director's Workshop, with Artistic Director Anne Rodgers Pearl.
This year's workshop consists of six original one-act plays produced for the first time on our stage. The plays will be presented Friday and Saturday, August 23rd and 24th at 8 PM, and Sunday, August 25th at 3 PM.. The workshop will be presented this year at The Croton Unitarian Fellowship, 471 Old Albany Post Rd (Route 9A), in Croton, NY. The church is located immediately north of the intersection of Routes 9 & 9A, at the border of Croton and Montrose, directly opposite Luposello's Garage.
Tickets are $12 for adults and $10 for seniors. Please note that some material may not be suitable for children. A member of TANYS (Theatre Association of New York State) will adjudicate the Sunday 8/25 performance. In past years, selections from this workshop have been invited to compete at state and regional level theatre festivals.
This year's selections are: "Just One" by Colette Silvestri, directed by Anne Rodgers Pearl; "A Name by any other Name" written & directed by Albi Gorn; "Garden Talk" by James Whelan, directed by Brian DeToma; "The Pitch Room" written & directed by Shaun Coen; "The Proof is in the Pudding" by Brian Pracht, directed by Karen Quinn; and "Time Went By, But Slowly" by J. Boyer, directed by Kevin Cannon.
This year's actors are: George Burns, Kevin Cannon, Joan Cavallo, Vicky Cooper, Robin Daikeler, Jim DeBlasi, Brian DeToma, Elise Godfrey, Phyllis Kirigin, Kurt Lauer, Ingrid Martin, Mary O'Connor, Cheryl Pryzby, David Sevensky, Matthew Sheridan, Gary Simon, Jim Smith and Janet Tinari.
