Welcome to Hand-to-Mouth Players’ production of Regards to Broadway. This was our first musical production at our new performing space, the Trinity Boscobel United Methodist Church. This musical revue came to life from a vision from a few Board Members and HTM members. The first hurtle was to find a Music Director. When we found Alice Avouris to direct us for our benefit production of An American Anthem this past winter, we knew her talents would enable us pursue the larger task of a revue. The audition process was amazing, we learned the local community was ready for a musical production. HTM experienced the largest audition turnout for at least the last 15 years! This incredible cast is made up of many new members to the HTM family whose ages range from their early teens to senior citizens. It’s wonderful to watch this diverse group of talented people team up and work together to bring this production to life. Besides their talents on stage, they also worked on many of the technical tasks as well, this is what community theater is all about. As you enjoy tonight’s show, watch how this group, who many started out as strangers to each other, has become a cohesive ensemble in 6 short weeks.

Of course one of the most important components of Community Theater is the Patron, without your support, Community Theater could not survive. Because we are a non-profit organization, the proceeds from this show will be used to put on our next show. Your applause is the only compensation these performers will receive, thank you for your generosity. We are all extremely excited and proud to have presented this show to you.
